Governor Burgum to visit Watford City on May 23

The public is invited to Outlaw’s Gallery when Governor Burgum visits on GOVERNOR DOUG BURGUM DAY in WATFORD CITY on May 23rd

Watford City, ND –

 

Mayor Phil Riely proclaimed  May 23, 2019 as Governor Burgum Day in Watford City, the day the governor and his team are coming to visit Watford City for their Main Street Initiative.  Mayor Riely urges local businesses to dress up their Main Street store fronts, and residents and students to display their warmest Watford City WELCOME to the governor and his team that day. 

 

The governor and his team will be conducting a Main Street walk in the morning and then hosting a public listening session from 11:00 – 12:30 pm CT at Outlaw’s Gallery at 120 Main Street South, Watford City.  The public is invited to attend as the governor discusses attracting and retaining a 21st century workforce; promoting healthy, vibrant communities; and facilitating smart, efficient infrastructure and to participate in a question & answer session.

The Buzz

In Watford I got to go to my first National Park. I made some friends and we went to the badlands and saw things we never heard of before like jackrabbits and mule deer. In my opinion Watford is the best city ever!
