North Dakota hits all-time high in oil production
North Dakota hits all-time high in oil production
KX Net

Oil production reached an all-time high in December according to the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources.
Oil production was 43,442,924 barrels, averaging 1,401,385 barrels per day.

The previous record high was 1,392,369 barrels a day in October of 2018.

“Oil production has surpassed 1.4 million barrels of oil per day, this is a big accomplishment.  We have reached this milestone by utilizing new technology allowing us to recover more oil from each new Bakken well. We are proud of what we’ve done in North Dakota to help the United States become the largest crude oil producer in the world and continue the push to become a net exporter of crude oil and petroleum products.” said Ron Ness, President of the North Dakota Petroleum Council.

My fiancé and I bought 5.2 acres here and have built a house…our business is doing well. We can't imagine leaving our friends we've made here. It's one of the most welcoming communities I've ever moved to.
