ND Smart Restart Guidelines

North Dakota Department of Commerce announces Hospitality ERG October 28, 2020
Due to the continuing need of assistance, the second round of the ERG will focus on reimbursing hospitality businesses that were directly impacted by Executive Order 2020-06. This includes all restaurants, bars, breweries, cafes and similar on-site dining establishments.

This is the plan for C-19 RECOVERY and REOPENING as provided by the state of North Dakota. Remember, general C-19 etiquette by everyone while out in public is the KEY to keeping our community from rebounding and falling outside key federal gaiting public health parameters.

Federal Updates

CARES Act
Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES)

On Friday, President Trump signed this unprecedented $2 trillion emergency spending bill into law, providing critical economic assistance to United States citizens and businesses impacted by COVID-19. The North Dakota Department of Commerce has provided a high-level summary of the CARES Act with an overview of business support programs, paycheck provisions for workers, and information on unemployment insurance changes.

Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program
Administered by the Small Business Administration, this is one of the quickest responses to aid businesses in the face of COVID-19. As soon as North Dakota was deemed a federal disaster zone, this immediately made available working capital loans at 3.75% to help businesses cover immediate shortfalls. For more information, view the Disaster Loan Assistance Page. Additionally, the ND Small Business Development Centers have been designated technical assistance centers in this process. North Dakota Opportunity Fund disaster assistance loan program for small businesses that are adversely impacted by the pandemic.
